Submission Types

1
Short Papers

Short Papers highlight emerging ideas, focused studies, or early-stage research contributions. They allow authors to present novel concepts or preliminary findings that may not yet be fully developed but offer valuable insights to the community. This format encourages sharing innovative directions and ongoing work.

2
Full Papers

Full Papers present mature, high-quality research contributions with strong theoretical, methodological, and empirical grounding. They typically include comprehensive evaluations and clearly articulate their contribution to the field of child-computer interaction. These submissions represent well-developed work ready for in-depth discussion.

3
Pictorials

Pictorials showcase design-led research through rich visual storytelling, including sketches, prototypes, and design artifacts. They emphasize process, reflection, and creative exploration, offering insights that may not be easily communicated through traditional text-heavy formats. This format supports diverse and practice-based contributions.

4
Work-in-Progress (WIP)

Work-in-Progress submissions present early-stage research, concepts, or exploratory ideas that are still evolving. They provide an opportunity to receive feedback from the community and engage in constructive discussions. This format supports experimentation and the development of future full contributions.

5
Doctorals & Consortium

The Doctoral Consortium is designed for PhD students to present their research, receive mentorship, and engage with experienced researchers. It offers a supportive environment for discussing research direction, methodology, and challenges. Participants benefit from feedback, networking, and community-building opportunities.
